Suman Mandal serves as an Assistant Professor II at the KIIT School of Architecture and Planning, bringing over a decade of combined academic, research, and professional experience. He holds a background in architecture -Urban Design and Pursuing his Ph.D. thesis at Jadavpur University on the impact of Mass Rapid Transit Systems (MRTS) on urban development. Mr. Mandal has previously served as an Assistant Professor at Amity University, Kolkata, and as a Visiting Faculty member at Jadavpur University. His professional career includes extensive industry experience as a consultant and practicing architect. An active researcher and mentor, he has published on urban transit systems, supervised M.Arch candidates, and contributed to key consultancy projects for government and heritage bodies.
