Sabyasachi Mohanty
Assistant Professor I
Ar. Sabyasachi Mohanty is an architect, researcher, and faculty at the KIIT School of Architecture and Planning. An alumnus of OUTR (formerly CET) and IIT Roorkee, his research focuses on South East Asian Vernacular Architecture, Housing, and Universal Design. He also served as a core research team member for the book Odisha – An Architectural Odyssey.
Teaching Basic Design, Architectural Design, South East Asian Vernacular Architecture, and Working Drawing, he passionately collaborates with students on architectural design problems. His core drive is exploring technologies that enable students to achieve optimized results. His teaching approach balances theoretical importance, pedagogical innovation, technological exploration, hands-on experience, and professional practice.
