The Master of Interior Design (M.Des) programme emphasizes research-led, studio-based, and interdisciplinary learning to develop advanced design competencies. The curriculum integrates design studios, seminars, workshops, live projects, field studies, and industry interactions to address contemporary challenges in interior environments. The programme encourages critical thinking, creativity, innovation, sustainability, and the application of emerging technologies through experiential learning. Students are mentored to explore human-centred, culturally responsive, and environmentally responsible design solutions through research, documentation, design interventions, sponsored projects, and publications in collaboration with academia and industry.

Course objective. To address contemporary social, environmental, and professional challenges by creating sustainable, inclusive, and culturally responsive interior environments through design excellence, technology integration, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Organizational structure. Teaching across all courses is periodically reviewed and updated through the Board of Studies to align with advancements in interior design practice, emerging technologies, sustainability goals, and industry requirements. Regular feedback from students, alumni, industry experts, employers, and academic peers is incorporated to continuously strengthen the curriculum, teaching methodology, and learning outcomes.
