Sovan Saha
Assistant Professor
Sovan Saha is an Architect and Urban Designer with more than ten years of experience, including industry and academics. He completed his under graduation Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) from Jadavpur University, Kolkata in 2011. He holds a postgraduate degree in Urban Design from School of Planning and Architecture (SPA), New Delhi. Sovan has worked as urban design consultant in multiple urban level projects. He was engaged in various architectural and public space design projects while working with renowned architectural organizations and one developer company based in Kolkata. He is skilled in Creative Concept Design, Placemaking and Project Planning & Execution.
Sovan has been active in the field of academics and continuing his research work focused on urban affairs since 2019 onwards. He was associated with Jadavpur University Kolkata as a guest faculty, with India Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST), Shibpur as an Assistant Professor (on contract) and with Amity University Kolkata as an Assistant Professor (Grade-I). Presently he is a regular faculty in KIIT (Deemed to be University), Bhubaneswar and working as an Assistant Professor (Grade-II) at the KIIT School of Architecture and Planning. Besides he is pursuing his Doctoral Research Work at National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela.
