In collaboration with WRI India, the School of Architecture and Planning at KIIT Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar recently hosted a stakeholder’s workshop focused on creating adolescent-
friendly public spaces. The event, titled “Young Urban Changemakers Conclave” engaged 60 high school students, who contributed their insights through a range of interactive activities. The workshop had two primary objectives: first, to capacitate adolescents to voice their ideas, talents, and passions in reshaping urban environments to better meet their needs; and second, to seek ideas from them on designing spaces that truly cater to young people.
We were thrilled with the enthusiastic participation and the wealth of fresh, creative ideas shared by the students. We extend our heartfelt thanks to WRI India for partnering with us on this important TU project, which continues to inspire and shape the future of our urban environments.
